Snorkeling gear on the sandy beach

I paddled around the cove in one of the kayaks available on site. After, I rinsed off in the walk-in shower inside my villa. Alix met me to open the driveway electric gate and provided a tour upon my arrival.

Hammock above the bungalow garden

I lounged in the hammock across the garden during the heat of the day. My outdoor kitchen sat in the fresh air while I prepared meals, and I rinsed off in the outdoor shower before I went to the beach. I walked to the Motu Grill for dinner, which sat just a few meters from my bungalow.

I paddled a kayak from the deck directly into the lagoon to explore the nearby waters. I parked my car under the covered roof and returned to my air-conditioned room each evening. Raita set out fresh bread, jam, and fruit in the shared kitchen every morning before sunrise. The terrace featured a saline-free infinity pool where I relaxed while overlooking the water throughout my three nights.

Private beach access under palm trees

I pulled the wheeled barbecue from under the roof to the lawn area before grilling dinner. I spent hours on the private beach watching for whales and sharks in the lagoon. I enjoyed the fresh fruit Vaea brought to the bungalow upon my arrival.

Paddling directly from the house

I rented a kayak from Pascal and Kim to head out directly from the house for an early morning trip to the chenal. After returning, I spent time by the swimming pool and washed my clothes in the washing machine. I made snacks in the kitchen of my room.

Pizza oven in the shared kitchen

I cooked in the pizza oven located in the common area while my family swam in the infinity pool. We started our mornings with home-cooked pancakes and pastries served in the breakfast area. The driftwood held our towels in our bungalow, which we arranged with three single beds for our stay. I also drank fresh-squeezed pineapple juice served with a flower lei upon my arrival.

Private swimming during the seven day stay

I swam in the private pool that sat outside my room. After cooking steaks on the outdoor grill, I used the full fridge to store my drinks in the outdoor kitchen. I washed my clothes in the laundry area before sunset.
